DNA's Summer Artist Residency Exhibition

DNA ARTISTS' RESIDENCY EXHIBITION AUGUST 30 - OCTOBER 1, 2013 Public Reception: Friday, Aug 30th, 7-10pm   Erik den Breejen: Billie Holiday (God Bless the Child), 2013, acrylic on canvas, 24 x 20 inches Please join us for the opening reception of the DNA Artists' Residency Exhibition Friday, August 30th, 7:00-10:00pm.  Freight + Volume is pleased to present its second edition of DNA's artist residency program for Summer 2013. Eighteen artists were invited for one- and two-week residencies on the Cape this season, to create new work inspired by their environment or continued from their existing studio practice, either created at DNA or offsite. They are given an apartment in Provincetown nearby the 2,000 square foot studio.
